Subject: Activities at ISDC for JEMX representative Dear colleagues, The present email has to do with SDAST AI26.1 "Update list of activities to be performed by instrument representative at ISDC" which became due on 31 Aug 2003. As discussed during the last SDAST meeting in Helsinki the main activity for the JEMX representative at ISDC is to make analysis of the most recent GPS or GCDE observations(¤). Unfortunately the INTEGRAL schedules to date are not available after 24th Sept, and no ISWT (GPS or GCDE) observations are planned until then; so I am not able to make a schedule over JEMX representatives at ISDC yet (the only representative planned for the moment is Niels Jørgen Westergaard from 1st to 3rd October, in connection with ISDC consortium meeting). I will keep you informed as soon as I get the necessary information, but in order to help me making the turn-around schedule I would be grateful to you for sending me your dates of (un)availibility for the last three months of this year. Best regards, Jérôme ¤ PS. These activities include: -Analysis of ISWT observations with both JEMX-ISSW and Niels Lund's s/w "midisky", which is installed on the DSRI's PC in the barn (cf. the ccokbook previously sent o this purpose). - Discuss/compare eventual results with other instruments team members at ISDC. - In the past it was recommended to regularly have a look to the JEMX instrument station, this may still be a good idea for example to answer questions from operators or duty scientists in the barn and eventually help them to check dead/sick anodes or hotspots. -- Jérôme CHENEVEZ Dansk Rumforskning Institut Danish Space Research Institute Juliane Maries Vej 30 http://www.dsri.dk DK-2100 Copenhagen Ø Tel. +45 35 32 57 03 FAX: +45 35 36 24 75
