Subject: JEM-X spectra

    Dear Carol Ann,

    Thank you for an email, I am fine. I hope your children are 
completely OK now?
Since Sunday we have winter also here, there is a lot of snow and 
temperatures
below 0 deg.

    Please find an attachement with 6 JEM-X Crab spectra which I have 
extracted
for cross-calibration purposes. They were prepared with SPE_rowSelect set to
default value (STATUS=0). They are rebinned, 4 channels to 1.

    I also think that the feature around 5 keV is probably spurious, 
because it is
hard to expect to have V or Cr K alpha lines in JEM-X. As I remember, also
Stefan Larsson agreed with that when we spoke at ESTEC. Anyway, this feature
may affect the iron line analysis in spectra and should be removed, if 
possible.

    ESTEC meeting was very useful for me, since it was possible to 
contact many
people working on INTEGRAL improvement. It was nice to talk with Niels 
Lund,
I regard him highly for his honesty in dealing with problems.
