Subject: Crab spectrum with different gain Hello Peter, Thanks for your plots. Here is a result of my analyses of the > 3 deg offaxis pointings in revolution 239. The figure shows the fitted photon index as a function of an azimuth angle which is defined as the centroide angle of the Crab counts on the detector measured from 'the x-axis' in normal shadowgram plots and counter-clock wise. This means that high gain is found around azimuth 210 deg (e.g. SWID 023900890010) and low gain around 30 deg (e.g. SWID 023900970010) This agrees quite well with your figure 'compare_jmx1_onaxis' except that I have photon indices generally lower than the on-axis value (presumably 2.1, but I have to look again).
