Subject: Catalogs

Hello,

As promised here is some more information.

1) I have made a 'readme.txt' file in /r6/jemx/catalogs with very short
   explanation of the file contents - at least for the important ones.

2) In our ftp area ftp.dsri.dk -> pub/njw
   (for insiders: /r4/ftp/pub/njw)
   I have put two tar files: jmx1_issw_survey_cat_0002.tar + jmx2_...
   with catalogs of sources found in all SWIDs with OSA4 that I could
   get access to in the archive i.e. consolidated data around August 10, 2004.
   
   Those marked 'NEW SOURCE' have no catalog equivalent - in an
   overwhelming number of cases they are spurious using DETSIG > 14 as
   criterion.
   
   There are 4 catalogs (four energy bands) plus a 'readme' file in each
   tar-file.
   
   The making of a unique catalog i.e. with each source only
   appearing once will be initiated this weekend - I have the IDL program,
   just need to run it.
