JEM-X status (SB): As usual.


Web based HK overview (SB): IDL program for standard plots of standard
HK parameters per revolution. So far the parameters are:
Accepted events, HW and SW triggers, Detector temperature
Could we add the gain ?
The basic plots (PNG based) will be available in a few days from
outside web access.

spectra from mosaics (JC): Background determination in mosaic significance
images (excluding sources) as a preparation for extracting spectra from
mosaic images.
We still need a better understanding of the contents of the
significance maps.

OSA-6 status (NL, NJW, CAO): j_src_properties is being developed
w.r.t. PIF assignments.
j_calib_gain_fitting is being changed to co-add up to 10 spectra.
There seems to be a noisy area around calibration source #4 in JEM-X1.
In case of weak spectra this can cause outliers in the gain function.
This is, however, quite rare. Such a problem can also develop for the
other sources so the easy solution to exclude source #4 from the gain
determination may not be the right one. The presence of a weak anode
close to the calibration source could cause fetures like this one.
We might look at observations done in TEST format.
