Subject: JEM-X Monday Meeting 2006-05-08 Present: NL, CAO, JC, CBJ, JC, NJW. JEM-X status (CBJ, SB): Nominal. We should check the status of DPE-2. INTEGRAL status (mail from PK): SPI change of DPE TM formats in revolution 436 (due to increased needs from increasing background). Visit at ISDC (JC): Sco-X1 question. We need to tell which HK parameter takes care of GTI definitions. It should be the HW trigger rate - what is the (column) name in the HK data. Also check user manual. Who wrote the GTI selection software or who is responsible? Reiner Rolfs wrote the program that sets the alert limits. Simona Soldi and OSA tests. Her data set will be updated with recently released data. The plan is a comparison between OSA5.1 and OSA6.0. The light curves will have basic time step of a science window (about 2000 s). JC will check spectral production from mosaic images (Roland Walter is very interested in this). JC has analyzed GPS results - nobody does this for IBIS data on a regular basis (at ISDC at least). Now j_ima_mosaic-6.0 has been delivered. It will be tested on a large number of input science windows. OSA 6 preparation (NL, NJW, CAO): jwfindsrc is being tested by Silvia Martinez and JC. The work to make a deliverable version is moderate. The changing width of the PSF has not been considered yet, but this should be included in a coming version. j_src_properties has stopped with a bug that has not yet been identified. On-request housekeeping (SB): ISDC has a a FITS file with all parameters that can be requested. The ISDC system is based on the database, but the parameters in question are not in the database. Good time intervals (SB): Can a ratio between hardware trigger and rate of accepted events be used to allow strong source counts be accepted in a GTI? Probably better to increase high limit for accepted rate of HW trigger rate. /NJW ---------- Niels J.
