Subject: JEM-X Monday Meeting 2006-03-13 Participants: CBJ, CAO, NL, NJW. JEM-X status (CBJ): As usual. An alert has been seen with "hi anode reject" rate, but data from the period seem OK. There has been Sco X-1 observations and somewhat increased background level. No visible hotspot. For quicklook analysis the shadowgram displayed is (TBC) not cleaned for hotspots. A strange lightcurve can then be checked against the shadowgram for existence of a (timevarying) hotspot. A very strong short duration (1 s) burst has been seen in JEM-X data (outside FOV) and later confirmed in SPI ACS data (IBIS data stream was interrupted for a short while). Also seen in Swift. Gain situation (CAO): During revolution 410 (Sco X-1 observations) there was not enough data for the correct gain calibration. An improved gain history table was put on the gain web page by CAO. Crab calibration (NL): will happen in revolution 422 (28-31/3 2006). The HV will be exercised with two lower than nominal setting interlaced with nominal settings. AOB: Lightcurve check from revol. 297. NL will do that. (NJW) Source finding search tool 'jwfindsrc' finished in a preliminary version. /NJW ---------- Niels J.
