JEM-X MONDAY MEETING #56: 9/05/2005 SUMMARY Instrument Status: Everything okay, but background increasing over last rev., 313, due to space weather. At end 311/beginning 312 HK was corrupted by MOC for ipf files, identifying rev. as 350. No problems of this sort since rev. 313. 2 GRBs in 54 hours: Looking away from galactic plane so better chances to see GRBs. Rev. 312 pid=16, lightcurve shows small blip, 3.5 sigma, but seen by bigger instruments. GRB 050504 at (201.015, 40.690) GRB 050502 at (202.450, 42.667) sigma is 5.17, but right on the boundary of SCW so IBIS not sure whether they've seen it. Unclear who owns these bursts, so will be distributed by TAC according to the rotation list. Redshift 3.9 for GRB-050502, according to optical spectra with very hard spectrum. Next Crab calibration: SB suggests we do an on-axis observation with different HV levels to study bumps produced by rejection criteria etc. Must get this request in early to have it implemented. SVR needs to be made for OSA 5.0 release.
