Subject: JEMX Monday Meeting 2005-02-03

JEMX status: As usual. A long slew across a strong source
   probably (Sco X-1) happened 2005-01-31 between PID 14 and 15.
   An almost straight line across the image is visible.
   
MOC "End of Nominal Mission" Review, SB: MOC invited feedback from
   users. Gyros are approaching end of nominal life. Consumables are
   plentiful.
   SPI: Annealing is done as few times and as carefully as possible.
   IBIS, PICsIT working on s/w patches to remove particle tracks
         IBIS has obtained lower energy thresholds
   JEMX: The question of operating 2 instruments as a baseline was
         discussed. With present number of TM packets available there
         is a sqrt(2) factor to gain for weak sources and no
         gain for strong sources.
         
OSA5: j_ima_mosaic and j_ima_iros will be ready as a deliverable version
      in about 14 days.
      
ISDC representatives: postponed to coming Monday Meeting.
