Subject: JEMX Monday Meeting 2004-12-13 Present: ILR, SB, JC, CBJ, NL, NJW JEMX status: There has been an IREM crash 2004-12-12 so JEMX has been shut down for a period of about 70 minutes. This opens the issue of cutting the dependence on IREM. VC change exercise: CBJ: 22 keV line position changes by 5% which is a small value in this respect. Same result for the 6 keV line that moves in parallel with 22 keV line. The cathode voltage effects the gain so the conclusion is that the gas is still OK and there is no need to change the nominal VC value. This is quite satisfactory. OSA5: NL: j_ima_iros is taking shape, NJW: IMOD-GRP is being adapted. JC: 'mosaic_weight' needs some important changes to become 'j_ima_mosaic'. Crab longterm lightcurve from revs. 39-45: The plot from Roland Walter does not look good, but currently we cannot do better when a 5x5 dither is used with all the pointings. We will, however, continue to work on this issue. /NJW ---------- Niels J.
