Subject: JEMX Monday Meeting 2004-11-29 Present: CAO, SB, JC, NL, NJW Status for JEMX: Looks OK. Background level is still reaonable. JC has analyzed detector spectra supplied by Peter Kretschmar up to rev. 245. The Xe peak has moved up to 32.2 keV. The relative line width has also increased with time. Is there a development of the glitch frequency and depth? (CAO will look into this). VC test: Still planned for first half of December. New transient reported by Sergei Grebenev: JC will check if it was seen be JEMX. AOB: NL: When 'pixelfold' is applied in 'midisky' the number of found and identified sources increases so it has a positive effect even though in some cases the detection significance of a source is lowered. The search for SgrA* is taken up again. /NJW ---------- Niels J. Westergaard Danish Space Research Institute Juliane Maries Vej 30, DK 2100 Copenhagen O Phone: +45 35 32 57 05; FAX: +45 35 36 24 75
