Subject: JEMX Monday Meeting 2004-11-22

VC test:  The cathode voltage change to investigate the state of the
          detector gas. VC will be lowered to 50% and raised to 115%
          of current level in 160 V steps (6 levels in total) with
          about 1600 s per level. This will happen in the first half
          of December during an OMC flatfield observation.
          
Status for JEMX: Background is almost normal again in rev. 257.
          The energy resolution under FRSS#1 is < 10%
          
SDAST prospects: Sami Maisala moves to ESO project, SL loses support
          for INTEGRAL (may keep 2 months in 2005), Peter Kretschmar
          down to 50% or maybe less.
          Silvia Martinez will hopefully be in a position with possibilities
          to suppor thé software maintenance - scripts in particular.
          JC has no definitive reply yet.

SGR software patch: We can use 16 bits for the countrate information.
          Should the new dummy events go to a new extension in
          jmxi_raw.fits ?
