Subject: JEM-X Monday Meeting 2008-03-31 Date: Mon, 31 Mar 2008 14:47:12 +0200 (MEST) Participants: SB, JC, CBJ, NL, NJW. JEM-X status (SB): As usual. Crab calibration (CBJ, SB, JC): Above 6 keV the spectrum has the same shape as the reference spectrum but 20% lower. At low energy the present spectrum is higher than the reference spectrum. A correction for the gain effects has been included. It is unclear why the spectrum is lower, but it is the same conclusion as in the j_ima_iros analysis, at least qualitatively. We can check the HK channels that report on the event rejection. JMX2 has used about 8 hours for the gain to stabilize (after long dormant period). JMX1 stabilized after 3-4 hours. Anodestatus: JMX1 has not changed. For JMX2 a deeper analysis is required since the observation pattern is different from the previous Crab calibration observation, though there is no indication of lost anodes. Timing: The pulse shape of the Crab looks familiar so timing precision is still fine. SDAST meeting #39 (NJW): Will be postponed but we will have an internal meeting either 2008-04-16 or 2008-04-17 in the SDAST style. /NJW
