Subject: JEM-X Monday Meeting 2007-11-05 Date: Mon, 5 Nov 2007 13:54:35 +0100 (MET) Participants: SB, NL, JC, CBJ, NJW. Status for JEM-X (SB): Recovery of CRC anomaly following eclipse was performed. Else nothing to report. Upper threshold was struck in the QL processing because the software used is an outdated version.* The temperature influence on the gain has risen from 1% per degree in 2004 to about 3% now. In the eclipse season the temperature variations in an orbit can be more than 7 degrees. Therefore the gain variations cannot be kept within +-10% as is the goal for the HV reductions. The temperature variations can be restrained to lower amplitudes if power is maintained on the instruments all the time. ISSW (NL): New developments in j_ima_iros where an intermediate delivery is considered. AOB (JC): The timeStart/timeStop values in the GUI has 6 digit accuracy after the decimal point, but the saving and restoring of a GUI session leaves only 2 digits. This has not been properly documented and we must take steps to do that. /NJW *Additional explanation from Stephane Paltani: Date: Mon, 05 Nov 2007 15:39:01 +0100 From: Stephane Paltani To: Niels Joergen Westergaard Dear Niels Joergen, A small correction: > Upper threshold was struck in the QL processing because the software used > is an outdated version. It was an old IC file (i.e., IC 7.0!), not software. We have updated the master table, and now we use the new LIM file for the operations (i.e., we sort of created an internal IC release 7.0.1).
