Subject: JEM-X Monday Meeting 2007-10-01 Date: Mon, 1 Oct 2007 14:12:44 +0200 (MEST) Participants: SB, JC, CBJ, CAO, NJW. JEM-X status (SB, JC): No loss of anodes. Gain is getting high for JMX1; on the other hand the temperature is higher because two instruments have been operative in the latest revolution 605 (just finished). We must consider a HV reduction soon. Crab calibration (SB): The NRT data reception server at ISDC crashed in the beginning of revolution 605, but it was soon brought up again. The most recent PHA binning table was not loaded to begin with for JMX2 until after the first 24 science windows. These must be analyzed with the old table and we prefer to flag them as BTI. There is a strong greyfiltering in that period anyway since there is only a single packet available for science data transmission. The deadtime correction for strong grey filtering appears to require an update. It will be investigated. CAO will make an IC file with gain calibration table for this revolution. OSA status and testing (NJW): j_ima_iros was updated in the last minute and redelivered. OSA7 has now been released. We must consider a SDAST meeting quite soon to define new goals for OSA7.1 and OSA8. j_ima_cross development will be continued with higher priority now that j_ima_iros is out. /NJW
