Subject: JEM-X Monday Meeting 2007-09-24 Date: Mon, 24 Sep 2007 14:04:23 +0200 (MEST) Participants: SB, JC, NL, NJW. JEM-X status (SB): High Anode Rejection: A limit on the countrate of events that give signal higher than PHA=~1000 (approx. 40 keV). The current rate limit is 9000 per 8 s, but as the solar minimum gets deeper, the charged particle background count rate increases. The particles give high signal so the limit is passed several times implying a GTI elimination of a time interval that in all other aspects gives good data. The files that define these settings for the have been updated by JC to a value of 15000 (per 8s) in stead of 9000. Else no comments on the status. Crab calibration (SB): Our telemetry allocation will be 15 packets per instrument in our 10 ks staring. In the remainder we have 2 packets for JMX2, 6 for JMX1. This will be revolution 605 starting Thursday. OSA status and testing (NJW): j_ima_iros has been delivered several times due to missing initializations and NaN problems and the version is now 2.1.4. Coordination and IUG meetings (SB): Uncertain when the coordination meeting will happen and the IUG meeting will be in the beginning of November (2007). /NJW
