Subject: JEM-X Monday Meeting 2007-08-27 Date: Mon, 27 Aug 2007 14:15:20 +0200 (MEST) Participants: SB, JC, NL, CBJ, NJW: JEM-X status (SB): The previously reported hotspotting has now disappeared since revolution 594 (incl.). Anode status is not wellknown since detector pattern has changed in a way so that comparisons with earlier backgrounds are insecure. DPE crash 2007-08-11: Anomali report. Buffer overrun in common services software seems to have caused it. Apart from a couple of hours of down-time there are no detected consequences. MOC team change (SB): Mike Walker takes over the MOC duties for JEM-X. A coordination meeting is planned in the fall. Upcoming Crab calibration (SB): We should ask for 10 ks on-axis with as much telemetry as possible (12-13 packets per cycle). Or, we can get this with possibly less telemetry rate (leading to greyfilter interaction) but over longer time. Additionally we suggest a pattern shift between the 5x5 pattern cycles from year to year, e.g. by 10 arcminutes. OSA status (JC, NL, NJW): j_ima_mosaic-7.0.1 was upgraded to 7.0.2 with better initialization. Stephane Paltani's report on j_ima_iros-2.1.0 results revealed that there are some problems with JMX2. There is a need for an update of various parameters. j_ima_src_locator-6.4 seems to operate well enough. Key programs have just started as well as Galactic Bulge Monitoring. Moving Monday meeting to another day of week(all): Will be considered. /NJW
