Subject: JEM-X Monday Meeting 2007-06-25 Participants: SB, JC, NL, CAO, CBJ, NJW. JEM-X status (SB): Nominal performance but hotspot activity in position (140,30). At least in the period 2007-06-20 - 2007-06-24 (revolution about 570) but possibly extending to before and after. Previous ESAM condition has had no impact on the JEM-X performance. SPI has made an annealing process in the beginning of June. Time relation problems (SB): A problem with the updating of the INTEGRAL orbit description has caused errors in the time relation calibration file. A reprocessing of the calibration files will be initiated and verified using Crab data. Keywords in light curve and spectral files under OSA (SB): There are inconsistencies in the conventions for naming of X-ray sources. Other keywords are not updated properly. In the light curve files the OGIP HDUCLASS etc. keywords are not given. Division into LIGHTCURVE, SPECTRUM, and IMAGE. Under this there should be a subdivision into counts, net-counts, background, etc. JC will take a look at j_src_spectra and j_src_lc executables to see if some of these peculiarities are relatively easy to amend. Status of j_ima_iros (NL): Basic structure is now in place and SCREW 2001 has been written. The number of user defined should be kept low, because the fitting procedure starts to diverge when trying to include more than 10 sources. Therefore a priority flag is defined with '3' for sources that must be included and '1' for sources that should be investigated. A careful update of the manual must be done. A flag column in SRCL-RES will tell if the source is found by j_ima_iros alone, specified by the user and not found, or specified by the user and found. Status of j_ima_cross (NJW): The coordinate system is now in place using the ISDC misalignment matrices. The mapping for getting the collimator correction using almost all Crab observation shows some deviations that must be investigated one by one. Sco X-1 observations (NL): What are the problems with the data? The software trigger limit was set too low so that the GTI definitions exclude a large part of the observations that with a change of of the limit settings and a reprocessing can be done. NL will make contacts. A some point Sco X-1 counts contaminated the FRSS readings so that the gain correction went wrong. CAO will check what steps have been taken. X-ray burst analysis (JC, SB): Define a standard analysis for X-ray bursters. Create a database of standard properties. /NJW
