Subject: JEM-X Monday Meeting 2007-02-06 NB: brought for historic reasons ---- Participants: NL, SB, JC, CAO, NJW. JEM-X status (SB): No change. Increased particle background at end of orbits. Next Crab calibration (NL, SB): We have asked for 5 ks with greyfilter exercises. VC changes in revolution 262 (for checking of gas contamination) changes also the drifttime of the electron cloud. A low VC leads to increased drifttime and hence increased probability for double triggers. The deadtime that follows a hardware trigger is 5.3 microseconds according to electronic specifications. No selfconsistent explanation for dead time when grey filter is active has been found yet. We are also considering turning off one or more of the anode segments and change the VC for the study of the dead time and double triggers. /NJW
