Gain Notes for Revolution 484 JEM-X1: A quite normal revolution with fine gain fitting. All the data from this revolution should be useable. The gap in the gain history data is probably a telemetry dropout that will be corrected in the Consolidated processing (results shown here are for NRT processing). New results will be posted when CONS data is available. The Xe line analysis demonstrates that the gain correction has performed well, to within about 2% of the ideal. As always it is recommended that users avoid the first few science windows for applications requiring the very best spectral/energy information since this is where the unit is settling down after the switch on. It also confirms that the gap seen in the gain history table is just a telemetry dropout in the NRT data used for checking the gain smoothing, and does not appear in the Xe line analysis performed on consolidated data. JEM-X2: No scientific data or gain history for this unit. CAO 22/1/2008
