Gain Notes for Revolution 472 JEM-X1: A quite normal revolution with fine gain fitting. All the data from this revolution should be useable. The autonomous switch off at the beginning of the revolution is well fitted and should cause no problems with the energy correction of the the science data. The Xe line analysis generally confirms this result, but at the beginning of the revolution, and close to additional switch ons, the data should not be used for analyses requiring very good energy determination. At these times the absolute gain and spatial gain variation in the plate is changing very rapidly and could cause errors in energy determination of a couple percent. The Xe line determination at the beginning of this revolution is very poor, and the large line widths indicate that the high line positions found are not a good indicator of actual accuracy of the energy determination. Widths between 1 and 3 keV indicate a good fit to the Xe line, other fits can be ignored. JEM-X2: No scientific data or gain history for this unit. CAO 30/8/2007
