Gain Notes for Revolution 417 JEM-X1: See notes for revolution 410. This is the second SCO X-1 observation revolution that shows (if very slightly in this case) the effect of confusion between SCO X-1 events and calibration events. As with revolution 410 it can be corrected using the IC table available either directly from this archive or from ISDC in their IC package. The Xe line analysis performed using the IC gain history shows a fine evolution with an average position within 1% of the expected value, which is very good. The steep climb to an acceptable value at the beginning of the revolution is quite normal, and the first few science windows should be avoided for any analysis requiring good energy determination.
