Dear all,

First, I would like to make the following addendum to my preceding e-mail about GPS 395 JEM-X results:
From the mosaic images, I can add a source named H 0918-549 in ISDC catalogue which is only clearly visible between 5-10 keV in ScWs #5 and 6. I think this is the first time this source was seen with JEM-X.

The GPS during revolution 396 was a large and not so boring one this time.
Unfortunately, I cannot confirm the "NEW SOURCE" claimed by j_ima_iros (see attached file). This is only visible on one image (ScW #3) over two where this position is inside the FoV. Looking at the mosaic I think this is just noise related to Cyg X-3, which is only 50 arcsec away.

The Xenon line fit from ScW #22 is as follows:
========================================================================
Model gaussian<1>  ScW: 03960022
Model Model Component  Parameter  Unit     Value
 par  comp
   1    1   gaussian   LineE      keV      29.9224      +/-  0.109034
   2    1   gaussian   Sigma      keV      5.45798      +/-  0.265925
   3    1   gaussian   norm                8.57201      +/-  0.329029
________________________________________________________________________
 Chi-Squared =     160.850281 using 27 PHA bins.
 Reduced chi-squared =       6.702095 for     24 degrees of freedom
 Null hypothesis probability =   3.110828e-22

There was another GPS observation at the end of rev. 397, but for yet unknown reason it has not been possible to perform the analysis... It crashes at the GTI level for each ScW, apparently due to some bad gti_attitude parameter. I asked Simon Shaw at ISDC to look at the nrt data.

Sorry, I just forgot to add that Cas A is also visible on the mosaic images between 3-6 keV and 6-10 keV

Cheers,
             Jérôme
