Gain Calibration Notes for Rev. 368 Relatively little noise and no large glitches. The rise at the beginning of the revolution is due to ion motion in the microstrip plate that occurs after the switch on of the high voltage to the plate. Also some indication of a small decay immediately after switch on, but nothing that affects the gain smoothing. Also a robust glitch on Source 4 (Cd) - it should be noted that this is the noisiest of the four source positions, as it is on JEM-X2. The Xe line analysis shows that the gain correction has worked quite well for the revolution, with the Xe line position within +-2% of the ideal value except for the first couple of science windows, which should be treated with due caution.
