Gain Notes for Revolution 255
	
JEM-X1: A quite normal revolution with fine gain smoothing. All data from 
this revolution should be useable.
The first two points of each data set are the partial switch-on with the High 
Voltage 3 steps below its nominal value.
Nice clean glitch on source 1. Cadmium sources clearly show competing fast and
slow relaxation effects that produce a little hook at the beginning of the
revolution.

Xe Analysis: the evolution of the Xe line position indicates that there is
no hidden gain suppression on the plate despite a clear burst of solar
activity in the middle of the revolution. There is however, clear evidence of
an uncorrected temperature signal in the data, and this will be dealt with in
the next version of OSA (i.e. the version after 6.0).
