Gain Notes for Revolution 207 JEM-X1: A quite normal revolution with fine gain smoothing, interrupted by on short, unscheduled switch off. All data from this revolution should be useable. The first few points in each curve are from the partial switch-on at the beginning of the revolution, for which HV is set 3 steps below its nominal value. All sources show clear fast relaxation due to charging of the plate, both at the beginning of the orbit and just after the reactivation. This causes a rapid gain decay just after switch on, which is however, well fitted in both cases. During PIDs 1 to 41, the wrong CPU clock speed was used (8 MHz). This time period has now officially been classified as a BTI and science data from this time period will be disregarded by the ISDC software. The BTI is: IJD=1635.70 to 1636.59. CAO 10/11/2006
