JC to come up with some new dates - Next chat meeting Wednesday 14th September Action items: no new action items **** Logging Started : Wed Aug 31 10:55:13 MEST 2005 *** njw (~njw@130.226.216.2) has joined channel #jemxadr Hej Carol Anne, hvis vi bliver de eneste er det nok nemmere at snakke direkte END *** silvia (~silvia@130.226.216.2) has joined channel #jemxadr Hello Silvia, have you had a nice summerholiday ? END Good morning Carol Anne and Niels Joergen ! > Hello! How was your summer Silvia? Is your new flat all finished? END Indeed, this summerholiday has been special and wonderful ! END My new flat is completely finished and it is much better than the old one. How is going with your new flat ? END > We get the keys tomorrow, and move in the 26th and 27th September. It'll > be very luxurious compared to our old place - two toilets! END *** jerome (~jerome@130.226.216.3) has joined channel #jemxadr Good luck with the moving !I am afraid always take more time than one expected. END Hi Silvia! Nice to read you. Have you good pleasant holidays? * jerome END Yes, indeed. And you ? Have you been in the sunny France ? END Yes. Of course! END > Does anyone know if Peter or Stefan will be joining us - I've heard very > little from Peter lately. END Peter should be in his office and I think he will join us. Yesterday I was talking with him. No idea about Stefan. END Peter responded yesterday to the Crab calibration question, but Stefan has been silent for a while. END > Let's give them 5 minutes, then start on the agenda. END That is a pitty Silvia you cannot come to the next SDAST meeting here. END > For the meeting after next, you'll all have to come to Chateau Oxborrow > for supper, so Silvia will have to come then. What are you working on with Yes, it is. But I can not change my stay at Rome, since I booked already the apartament. END > Ubertini in Rome? END > Since we are so few, I suggest we make this a very brief chat and get > back to our work. First on the agenda: agenda items for the Copenhagen > meeting: any suggestions? Anything in particular you want discussed Silvia? > END No > So next point on the agenda: spectral extraction. Ideas and suggestions > are welcome on this one, and it will be discussed at some length at the > meeting. Any comments? END We have some inputs regarding the dependence on the gain level, but it is a little premature to tae a discussion now, but I'm preparing a contribution * njw to the SDAST meeting. END tae = take END May be it is already on the agenda, but I suggest that we keep discussing the ususal issue about representant rotation at ISDC... END We should, yes END You can include me again the rotation at ISDC. Niels told me yesterday that your institute can support my stays at ISDC. END > That's a very good idea - we need some concrete dates I think. END > Once the moving is over I can manage to travel again, say in November - but > I think certain other people should do their share first! END Yes, I will prepare some dates... again :) ! END > Okay, so no more to say about that then? END N N > Okay, SVR is next on the agenda: could you give Silvia a little status > report NJW? And the rest of us will benefit from hearing it again. END Main changes: j_ima_iros and results from it are described in the new version j_ima_mosaic as well. Then chapters have been reshuffled a bit e.g. background has been pushed in the background. Thinking about version 5.1: The weak sources chapter needs to be redone, Stefan's spectral analysis also needs a brush-up, and to come back to the spectral extraction: we will concentrate more on the role of the actual gain as well as position dependent ARF. That's the short version of the report on the report. END So you assume there will be an OSA 5.1 ... Or is it something you have heard about? END I'm afraid I've not yet read the new version. I'll try to read it and send some comments before the end of this week. END > There has to be an OSA 5.1 - it's certain that in preparing for OSA 5.0 > the other teams have encountered problems just as we have. END No, not necessarily, SVR-5.1, these numbers do not have to follow each other (but it is nice if they do) END REgarding the weak sources chapter, I can try to obtain a new spectra and pulse profile for EXO using the OSA 5.0 software or do this kind of analysis for a weaker source. END Well, it may also come a OSA 6.0 dircetly, no? END Silvia, that would be great. END I'll do my best. END > Next on the agenda: AIlist. I don't suppose much of this has been cleared > off over the holidays, so I'll just try and encourage people to get as None from my side, unfortunately EMD > many items done as possible for the meeting in Copenhagen, where I hope > to get time enough to trawl through the whole list and see what can be > abandoned etc. Any AI activity from anyone? END N > So let's move straight on to AOB: any AOB anyone? END N N N > When should our next chat be: in 2 weeks time? That would be September 14th. > END Fine with me. END OK No problem. END > Chat with you all again on the 14th. Be good till then! END I lige måde! END Bye, bye, have a nice day END *** njw has left channel #jemxadr : (njw) *** jerome has left channel #jemxadr : (Bye) hej, hej ! *** silvia has left channel #jemxadr : (silvia)
