Hi Jerome. I think we should wait for a while. END > Yes. Let us wait for NJW and Peter. END *** peter (~pkretsch@crab.unige.ch) has joined channel #jemxadr Hi there - sorry for the delay. Crab went down (again) over lunch. END *** njw (~njw@uhuru.dsri.dk) has joined channel #jemxadr > Hello Peter! So where is our most favorite British collaboratrice? END * njw Hello END > Yes we saw that problem. END > Hello NJW. There is only us four today. CAO is just gone to the cinema to see The lord of the Rings > END That sounds much more interesting! END So are you keeping a log Jérôme? Or you, Niels Jørgen? END > Yes I am doing. END > CAO would like me to push everyone to report about his current AIs... END AI 26.12 on NJW: Signif. maps : I'm working on that one and I should be able to make it before this year runs out END That's good news. END AI 27.15 on NJW: SCREW to use the agreed upon flux units. Didn't you do that Peter ?? Else I'll do it today END I _think_ I did - let me check ... END I have no other imminent actions (I think) END Who's next ?? END > Sami, how about you? END I have only one AI which is write a SCREW of the corrupted INDEX tables. I'll do it today. END Peter, what about you ? END Jérôme, do you have some actions END I'll answer in a minute ... END > Ok, my turn then. > I have AI 27.5: New Xe resolution for SVR. This is has consisted to update the > relevant figures instead. The real work has still to be done, but as the SVR > is sent now, this has a lower priority... > I will do it as soon as possible next year. > AI 27.11: Update mosaic s/w... I am sorry I have not done that yet, but I think > I have a rather good excuse. It is because I have spent time to analyse a new source > I have found in revolution 41, during what we thought was empty fields observations > Remember Sami? > I can tell you about this later if you like. > Then there is AI 27.13: Make a data template for midisky images made > by image_mosaic. I actually do not remember that one and I do not know what it is about... See with Niels - he spent some time with Roland Walter early in the month. END > Yes sure. END > I guess it was all from my side. END OK, my part ... AI27.17 - the GRS 1915+105 position in our reference catalog differs by ~20" in R.A. from that in SIMBAD. In Dec the difference is negligible. I've asked the catalog people and Jérôme Rodriguez to investigate. END That should close the AI. My other AIs are for spring. With respect to NJW's question before - it seems I did not enter a SCREW for the fluxes after all ... END Alright, I'll do it END > OK. What next on the agenda? END AOB, or my proposal "information flow". > Go ahead. END * njw Let's take yours, then END This is triggered by a visit from Arvind Parmar. He commented that he had very little visibility on what was going on for JEM-X H/W, on-board S/W, calibration ... I realized that to a large extent this is true for me and probably for most of us not directly at DSRI. We do get the updates at our SDAST meetings and sometimes important issues, but we do not really know if something is coming up on this side. Getting such information would be very useful, on the other hand. Now, I'm __not__ advocating formal reports or anything like that, but would like to see if we can get a few more semi-regular information tidbits spread around. You do have these regular(?) JEM-X meetings at DSRI, don't you? That's right END > Yes, every monday. END Would it be possible to circulate _brief_ summaries of what was discussed within the SDAST mailing list? END I really mean something like a bullet list of topics and a few words if something interesting came up. END Or do these meetings have formal minutes somewhere? END > May I ask: does one get this kind of info from other teams? END That must be possible, I'll initiate that at the next meeting. We dont have minutes, just a quicly made agenda. END Yes, thought so and I don't want to add any formality - except for a short write-up at the end. That could actually be useful even for you guys yourself. END > Yes, you are right! END Do you think you could add Astrid to the list of recipients or is this to "private"? END Certainly; there is not much private, anyway, that could be filtered out END Very good. Actually, we could also try to have the "headlines" of what was concluded in our chat meetings in the summary email that Carol Anne usually sends around. END > I will tell her. END AOB ? She'll love to hear about additional effort :-) Let's see if she manages to free herself from the power of the One Ring again and work for JEM-X :-) :-) No OB from me. > NOB from me too. END No. END Let's say goodbye, then: Goodbye *** njw has left channel #jemxadr : (njw) Goodbye. END So I guess this is the moment to wish you all a Merry Christmas! *** Signoff: smaisala (Leaving) > Then let us say good bye! Bye! *** Signoff: peter (ircII/tkirc)
